Baby counselling is normally carried out as 1 session per month.
Child Psychotherapy
Emotional understanding of children positively affects all areas of development. In addition to emotional evaluation, it should also be followed developmentally. Regulating the relationships between parents and children helps to enter adolescence in a healthier way.
In the first stage of child therapy, the family history is taken. The child is observed through play, as a result of the reason for application, family history and child observation, if there is a necessary test to be performed on the child, it is decided to apply psychological counselling to the family or therapy to the child according to the results of the evaluation.
Adolescent Psychotherapy
Adolescents have a different language. It is necessary to give meaning to the emotions they experience. What they need most is to be understood. Adolescence is also one of the most challenging periods for families. In this process before stepping into adulthood, both the awareness of young people about themselves and family relationships need to be regulated.
In adolescent therapy, the first interview with the family and all subsequent interviews are conducted with the adolescent.
While the therapist is working with the child or adolescent, a different therapist can work with the family. Interviews with adolescents are conducted one-to-one, and with children, since the child cannot express his/her problems verbally like an adult, through play, by playing games with the child in a playroom with toys and materials.
Adult Psychotherapy
Adults have many roles. In this process, they try to manage many dynamics such as family, children and work colleagues at the same time. Sometimes all responsibilities can be heavy. It is precisely at this point that the need arises to put into words what has been experienced. Therapy with adults begins and ends at the request of the applicant. Developmental Tests
Self-care, gross motor - fine motor, receptive-expressive language, social, emotional, intelligence areas are evaluated with tests to be applied to families and children in order to determine whether the child is progressing in the development line appropriate for his/her age. The aim of psychological assessment with projective tests is to complete the problem experienced by the child and to understand the cause of mental distress. Applying projective tests requires special expertise and competence. In our institution, projective tests are applied by certified therapists who have completed the trainings given by the "Rorschach and Projective Tests Association". The tests we use for psychological and academic evaluation are; Rorschach, TAT, CAT, WISC-4, Draw a Person, Draw a Family, Draw a Family, Draw a Tree.
